    Do you remember when Gov Don Sundquist paid ($120,000?) to have the TN License Plates redesigned with what was basically his re-election campaign logo?

    I’m with oleg. Any intern could have done this for free.

    You laff at this episode of state ineptitude.

    However, when the design for the state quarters was being done here in Texas, it became a damn political football that ended up being decided by some committee to relieve everyone else of responsibility.

    Texas ended up with perhaps the most ugly, boring and lame designs of all the states on the back our quarter. One glance and your first thought is, “Designed by committee.” It was just sad.

    Pull some change from your pocket. If you are lucky and can find a TN quarter, enjoy its design knowing that whatever TN paid to get that done, it was better than the hash TX made of ours.
