The fact that they are including Zimmerman in that statistic, despite the fact that a jury in a court of law found that Zimmerman was being attacked by Martin and was in reasonable fear of his life make me believe that they are being less than truthful.

They also conflate homicide with murder. A CCP holder who shoots a perpetrator in self defense and kills him is not a murderer.
Less than a thousand cases, in a country where automobiles kill 35000 a year, does not point to firearms held by licensed concealed carry holders as being the threat the grabbers would like it to be.
Although, in some cases, as the man said, “He needed murderin’.”
