   That’s a pleasant surprise. Usually such shows use any subject matter like that to glorify authoritarian government and demonize citizens who support the right of armed self defense and other “dangerous extremists” who support the Constitution and ALL of the Bill of Rights.

   In other news of gov flouting of the Constitutional rights of its own lawful citizens, Operation Chokepoint has hit close to home: Tampa TV affiliate WFLA is running a series on gun and pawn stores getting divorce papers from their banks, primarily Suntrust and Bank of America:

   Unceremoniously dumping long-term loyal customers and responding to inquiries only with form letters they call “gun letters” and with media contacts spurned entirely. Privately, bank execs claim the actual target is pawn shops and other businesses (check cashers, payment processors) that they see as competitors, and using the gov pressure that purportedly seeks to weed out “terrorist-connected entities” -like gun dealers and ammunition producers- to punish them and attempt backdoor gun control.

   Both gov and the banks themselves are culpable here, colluding as they have before, each with their own subvertive agenda, to squeeze innocent citizens.

   Some protesting and picketing at Suntrust locations in Tampa is planned, but in general this government warfare against its own law-abiding citizens is happening with impunity, and apparently it is picking up momentum right here in my area just at the time I’m about to have to re-enter the gun and pawn business by default…and my bank for nearly 30 years is BOA. So I will be dealing with this shit personally and very soon it seems, maybe doing a little picketing myself, not a role I would have chosen or expected. Unfuckingreal.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
