But when is the public tarring and feathering?

The Torrance Po Po liked to take people’s guns. Then, when they had no lawful reason to keep them from the owners, would keep them anyway. Despite court orders telling them not to. They destroyed some of the guns. And now have to shell out $30K over it. That number is way too low.

    “But when is the public tarring and feathering”
    – never. The primacy of public schooling combined with how widespread abortion and contraception is means that the people young and energetic enough to do it, are too indoctrinated and too un-numerous to make it happen.

    I’d settle for 30K for each offense, plus loss of career for each offender. Surely this falls under either 18 USC 241 “Conspiracy to Deprive Rights” or 18 USC 242 “Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law” or both. Either is a federal, criminal offense.

    Yes; we do in fact have criminals running around with badges and guns, on the public payroll. The left has a habit of calling cops “pigs” and whatnot, but almost always for the wrong reasons, so they, as usual, complicate things. All the best lies of course do have some some grounding in truth.

    @lyle:
    They do, but no federal DA is going to ever push for that charge.

    +1 on Lyle… sigh

    The following quote is attributed to Thomas Jefferson, although some say is is not, but it certainly fits this robbery of people’s guns:

    “The two enemies of the people are criminals and government,
    so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution
    so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.”

  6. Linoge Says:

    Unfortunately, the settlement only punishes the taxpayers, not the actual criminals in this case.

    The people who did the destroying have no reason to not continue doing so in the future.

  7. Azzy! (@AzzyLikesGuns) Says:

    Ive often called for the surrender of a pension for such offenses, but we have unions running the gov, and unions running the police. Such punishments (that would serve as a warning) wont happen.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
