Psychology today

Looks like the DSM whatever number they’re up to wants to classify internet usage habits as disorders. And, through some twist of logic, this may ban you from gun ownership.

    But of course.

So to prepare for my future psych eval, let me state right now that Hillary Clinton is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I’ve ever known in my life. So I believe, and so I proclaim.

Can I have an AR15 now?

This is absolute garbage. The DSM is a guide, not a bible. It recognizes that yes, you can do pretty much anything to excess at which is causes problems in your life and would need treatment. Overeating, oversleeping, overgaming, etc.

Psychiatry does not work that way. The VA does not work that way. I am a psychologist who consults regularly at a VA in the PTSD and CDC (chemical dependency programs) clinics and can solidly assert that this writer has no clue what he’s talking about. It’s fearmongering BS of the worst kind.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
