    because it’s not about crime, it’s about political violence, including that of the State.

    “If crime rates are falling, why are all those people in prison?”

    James Taranto of the Wall Street Journal’s Best of the Web daily column has dubbed this type of news story with the name “Butterfield Effect,” for the eponymous Fox Butterfield, the journalist who famously asked just what rickn8or quotes above.

    Cause, meet effect.

    ” More guns, less crime.” –John Lott

    It’s a “self-evident truth”.

    There are some good points in the article, e.g;
    “Gun ownership is increasingly seen as part of what it means to be a responsible citizen,” she says.

    “It’s not just a right to self-defence but a duty to protect your family and community.”

    It doesn’t get much better than that, People. Though it reveals a complete lack of understanding of cause and effect, I give it a B+ for not being the typically insane hit-piece.

    The BBC wouldn’t be smart enough to understand the answer, if it were offered them.

  8. Les Jones Says:

    The good news is that Great Britain has outlawed face sitting, so something.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
