This has my interest

The Liberty Mystic X Suppressor. It’s for many calibers. If I got one in 9mm, I could use it on, basically, all my guns.

great can from a great company. David and his gang are good folks for sure.

Just keep the pressures down and the barrel long, according to Liberty (45K PSI would require a full 16″ barrel). Looks like a nice can tho and I’d consider it if I didn’t have a few already.

I would suggest that if you are primarily a rifle shooter then you might want to look at something designed specifically for rifles (max pressure or SBR would suggest a different model). This looks like a nice mid-way-between-pistol-and-rifle can, but if you don’t need the compromises then…get what you need without the limitations.

Mix and match is not a big deal, I do it all the time. That said, I haven’t really considered threading a can for 9mm onto a rifle barrel – except for that oddball 5.7 using a .223 can…

I’d suggest – if you can swing it – to get one can for rifle (7.62 maybe) and one for pistol (.45). These guys seem to be able to help there, too. Liberty is nice.

NFA stamp and approval required for each and every gun it can fit? Or is the can itself the only item stamped, and what gun it attaches to is irrelevant?

Yes, I am completely ignorant about US suppressor laws.

I still want a suppressed 22LR pistol and rifle.

    Stamp for the can only.

But the adapters seem kinda expensive.

You have to ask “mother may I” for each can, and you can move them around all you want, just like you file for SBR on one lower and you can swap multiple uppers, so I filed for a .223 which will cover .22 and probably do well at .17, a 7.62 which will cover the 7mm and 7.62×51, but is mostly for 300BLK, and a .45. .45 is a lot closer to subsonic than 9mm, so I figure I can bring those 230gr slabs of lead in under mach one a lot easier than any 9mm.

I have the regular mystic, the x came out halfway through my wait on the atf. I love it so far and as far as customer service goes they are top notch. I sent them an email when i was saving the money for it to ask some questions about the mounts. Was sent on a Saturday night and got a phone call the next afternoon. Spent like 30 minutes going over different things.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
