MPs fashioned spears while Harper whisked into closet. Good for them for making weapons to fight back. But wouldn’t a gun have been more effective? I mean, a gun actually was more effective.
But let’s try for some more gun control since having a database of gun owners didn’t stop this crime.

I’ve always found it interesting (by which I mean maddening) that antis are actually perfectly cool with use of weapons in response to an armed attacker.
Even though they’d rather you use a relatively ineffective, field-expedient weapon, approving of even that is default recognition that an armed response is preferred. They just don’t want you to be armed with anything actually purpose-designed to stop such an attack…like a gun.
That, as Mr. Spock would say, is illogical.
