Should there be a limit to the amount of ammunition you can own?

No, next question.

    I disagree.

There are structural issues that need to be addressed.

Wouldn’t want your floor to collapse under the weight, would you?

  2. Adam Lawson Says:

No, there’s already a limit on how much I can fire at a time…

  3. jimmie Says:

Yes there are limits, on how much my ammo shelf will hold and how much i can spend without the wife getting to pissed off. Other then her no one is going to tell me how much ammo, guns, or anything else i can have. If i want to spend my money on something i will.

  4. rickn8or Says:

The only time you can have too much ammo is when the house is on fire or you’re trying to swim with it.

  5. littlejohn Says:

such a dumb thing to worry about…. name one incident that ended because the bad guy ran out of ammo? who give a flip if misunderstood school shooter dies with a full chest rig….

  6. Deaf Smith Says:

We should have the same limit as the DoD has.

  7. Ron W Says:

Only our employees should have a limit and the government agencies like DHS all of which operate UNDER DELEGATED POWERS specifically enumerated in the Constitution. Accordingly they have NO business telling us what we may have nor how muc!

  8. The_Jack Says:

Ah the “stop hitting yourself” stance of gun control.

See, they don’t want you to own “too much” ammunition, but they want regular testing and training requirements which… require frequent purchase of ammunition.

Why it’s almost like they just want to make it hard for people to own guns!

  9. dustydog Says:

Have to be careful, you could make the island tip over. [hat tip to Senator Hank Johnson, D]

  10. Ron W Says:

All of which is UNLAWFUL since there are NO DELEGATED POWERS for any of it EXCEPT ” for governing such part of them (militia) as may be EMPLOYED in the service of the United States” (Article 1,Section 8.16)

    Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

Do I understand this correctly? A man was stabbed by his wife. He has a gun collection. The collection was confiscated, and he may be charged for something.

For WHAT?!? For the crime of owning guns while getting stabbed?

  12. bogie Says:

HTH did the conversation start with a stabbing, to too many guns/ammo are bad?

  13. IllTemperedCur Says:

Looks like the problem is the 30 lbs of black powder. If it’s stored correctly, it shouldn’t be a safety issue and the cops should all piss off, but if it was all in a sealed safe….. *shudder*

  14. TS Says:

NJ has limits on the amount of black powder one can keep, and this man was arrested for exceeding it. I still haven’t heard any outrage from the “Second Amendment is for muskets” crowd, and since this story is over a month old, I’m sure the rant they’ve been formulating during this time is going to be a doozy.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
