No worries. That is just for the Russian guns. I am sure entrepreneurial countries like Bulgaria will step up to replace them.

  2. IllTemperedCur Says:

Has Home Depot seen a run on 80% AK receivers……I mean, shovels?

  3. Sigivald Says:

    Weird, really.

If you want “an AK” but don’t care about the rest, you wouldn’t be getting a Russki in the first place; they’re not the cheapest.

If you care about quality, wouldn’t you just get an Arsenal or something?

(I mean, my eventual “I should own an AK again” gun is likely to be a boring ol’ Yugo underfolder…

    Russian, schmussian.)

  4. Linoge Says:

Here is to hoping this might kick an American manufacturer into cranking these out… I would love to not have to worry about 922(r) compliance.

  5. Mike V. Says:

I swear, one would almost think The OneŠ owned stock in firearms companies. He has done more for gun sales than anyone since John Moses Browning.

  6. Ron W Says:

Hopefully Russian-American armory will start making them instead of importing.

But I bought a pre-ban one back in 2003 which I still have. According to the law (as though they follow it) it should be “undocumented” by now.

  7. Ron W Says:

Well, Mike V., I’m sure he likes being surrounded by them FOR HIS PROTECTION. He just wants to take from us what he keeps for himself.

  8. Bubblehead Les Says:

Well, on the other hand, “Slightly Shot” ARs are going for around $550-600 at one of my local Gunne Shoppes, and Ammo is about $.35 a round w/tax in Bulk, so I’d just Buy American.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
