    Strange.

It would have been easier to just make a 6.5×39 wildcat, and re-barrel a normal AK.

Use a real AK magazine, dammit.

  2. Old NFO Says:

Gotta admit that is a ‘strange’ combination… 🙂 But as they say, where there’s a will, there IS a way…

  3. Jim W Says:

But 6.5 grendel is worthless from short barrels….

  4. Linoge Says:

Given the company that produced the AR-magazine-conversion, I would not touch that thing with your ten foot pole.

  5. Reno Sepulveda Says:

Makes about as much ballistic sense as the .300BLK. But it looks cool.

  6. Beaumont Says:

    Er….what the…? More importantly, why?

  7. Jeff from DC Says:

Internet foul. You arent allowed to post a picture of an sbr without a subsequent comment of “I hope that person has a tax stamp.” You guys know the rules. Someone step up to the plate and be a curmudgeon.

6.5 grendel in a sbr? Something different, I guess.

  8. Paul Kisling Says:

Personally if I wanted a 6.5 AK I would have necked down 7.62 brass to 6.5×39. None of the case straightening antics of the grendel. That way I could use standard Ak mags. All that would really be required is the barrel and some gas flow calculations.

    Because racecar?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
