Only the police should have guns

During the shoot out with the Boston bombing suspects, a lot of police were shot. By other police.

The police aren’t very big on Rule 4.

Since a lot seem to get their training from TV and movies, they really need to review the scene in Ronin where DeNiro explains the problem with how the Tactical Tommy has drawn the ambush.

So maybe the police knew what they were doing when they told Bostonians to hide inside their homes? Because the police were out and about, doing their shooty thing?

Watch the videos of the SWAT raids. They are hunting terrorists in a house, and don’t notice the camera pointed at them from across the street. That camera could have just as easily been a rifle.
Once the gunfight starts, they would respond like all green troops do in their first engagement: the cops engage in a circular firing squad using full auto fire, spraying bullets at everything that moves.
See the Dorner manhunt for reference, and remember that Dorner was not as well trained as some of the people that would do cops harm.

Considering the behavior of MA cops and their violation of the rights of Boston residents, them hitting each other could be considered a feature rather than a bug.

Hell, from what I’ve seen and heard about what cops do in the last 20 years I don’t believe that they get ANY training or any psychological testing either.

This article also confirms for me what I’ve long believed; That when cops are shooting, you’re safest if YOU are the intended target.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
