Self-Defense Is Not Vigilantism

Scolding the NYT, a paper that gets substantially everything wrong about gun issues.

I would be highly surprised if the gun banner types could understand what the article says, quite frankly.

I myself have never been one to believe in Natural Laws.(If I believed in those; I would have to believe in survival of the stupidest, because when all things are said and done the stupid tend to survive.)

It goes right up there with inalienable rights and war crimes. All of these things do not really exist until we are told they do.

Paul, I disagree. All of these things exist, whether recognized by society or not, and once an individual claims these rights for himself or herself, they are then inalienable and may be infringed but never invalidated, destroyed or nullified.

That is, once recognized, these rights exist forever.

  3. Paul Kisling Says:

For something that exists when it is recognized it sure took a long time after Locke’s death before his words were fulfilled…

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
