That 700 AAC-SD was the shittiest gun I’ve ever owned, couldn’t get rid of it fast enough! Could not find one single thing I liked about it. That said, I will keep my Rem. 700P for life, it is the sweetest gun I own.

I thought all 700s had adjustable triggers, but then I haven’t seen every 700. Same trigger design as Timney, or maybe Timneys were designed after the Remington. Or maybe I have no idea what I’m talking about. It’s just that my Remington 700 trigger’s basic operation is the same as my friend’s Timney.

Don’t say your gun is a piece of crap without saying why (so we can make fun of you).

Lol, alright, well let the fun begin. The adjustable trigger is supposed to be from 3 to 5lbs. Mine arrived from the factory at 5. Upon adjusting it out as far as the screw would go it went down to 4.2lbs. And the screw stuck out on the trigger nearly 1/4″, and here’s the good part, you had put your finger on top of the screw to pull the trigger! Called Rem. and he says “you adjusted the trigger? That voids the warranty” When I asked why sell it with adjustable trigger then, he ignored me and said the only thing they could do was put another trigger in for me for $220. Took it to my gunsmith instead and when he took out the trigger assembly it was covered in some kind of glue. After a lot of work to get off the glue he got it down to 3.5lbs. The Hogue stock is so flexible that it touches the barrel when you shoot. The bolt is so rough it felt like sand in the reciever. A turd and I’m glad to be shed of it! And if it matters, my 700 police does not have an adjustable trigger, it doesn’t need it though.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
