Edge Arms Reliant

A new to me gun from Edge Arms:

reliant

Four tip up barrels in either 22Mag or .17 or .380. No slide to operate and an easy to pull trigger. The site notes it’s good for those lacking hand strength.

Via MJM who says I’ll let others discover that this really cool gun has inherent design or material flaws. But then, what would the internet talk about!

    Can Anybody say COP?

  2. Linoge Says:

I will feel a lot more comfortable about that gun and its potential once it exists in some other form than “computer rendering”.

Also, I am not sure 8-10 pounds of trigger pull constitutes “easy”, but I guess that depends on the person.

Has to be an internet spoof.

On the other hand, Beretta and Taurus sell repeating .380s with a tip-up barrel and more than four shots…

It’s not real. Possibly somebody wasted a lot of time on an internet-gunnie prank. More likely, it’s a college Marketing class assignment.

  6. Thirdpower Says:

Frankie is right. It’s a slightly modernized C O P. I sold one of those a few years ago.

Probably not as fake as you might think, nk.

I remember in the 1980s, my grandfather sold those in his pawn shop… Well I don’t know if he actually sold any or just had the same one on display for 10 years.

  8. emdfl Says:

IIRC Mossberg had one of those in .22cal many years ago.

Oh, I know the COP. I meant this particular presentation.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
