Mailbox topper

From NRA comes a “for steal” sign. I’m not thinking these are a great idea.

Since your home will then be the target, might as well paint a bullseye on the front door and turn that dopey thing towards it.

Tackier than wearing a feather boa to a minister’s funeral.

NRA’s starting to piss me off already, and I’ve only been a member for less than six months. Yesterday I got in the mail a DVD which I didn’t ask for and don’t want, with a note telling me I could watch it and buy it, or return it in the included mailer. Problems are multiple. Because the DVD is going to a p.o. box and not a person, I will never know if it a) arrives, b) arrives, but is never processed, c) arrives, is then lost… You see where I’m going with this.

Anyway, I sent NRA a nastygram, asking me to take them off their damned mailing list and stop sending me shit I don’t want with the onus on me to return it or get billed. I told them I joined so that my money would be used towards protecting my 2nd Amendment rights, not wasted on nonsense like that. I even asked for a confirmation that they had received my request. So far, zip. Might drive over to their offices tomorrow and ask to speak with someone in person.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
