Why are anti-gun activists so violent

Eddie Vedder, who somehow managed to sing for a living despite his inability to open his mouth*, opened his mouth and something stupid came out. Probably why he keeps his mouth shut. Anyway, he said of gun owners:

“I get so angry that I almost wish bad things upon these people,” Vedder said. “But I don’t have to because it seems like they happen anyways. It seems like every week I’m reading about a 4-year-old either shooting their sister, their dad, their dog, their brother or themselves, because there’s fucking guns laying around. But I guess it’s ‘fun.’”

So, wishing bad things on people, such as a 4-year-old shooting their siter?

* Seriously, it sounds like he’s keeping his lips shut when singing. Or is it just me?

keep in mind that his statement could be read simply as an endorsement of safe storage. ie, that small children shouldn’t be unsupervised around loaded, unsecure guns.

Not just you – I always dislike Pearl Jam, and every time I hear him sing I make fun of his inability to enunciate.

The sound is coming out his arse. Seriously .

So was he happy when his contemporary Kurt Cobain ate his shotgun?

    Eddie Vedder? Who?

  6. Cargosquid Says:

In other words, he’s just another gun control nut who project his anger and impulse control problems on everyone else and thus THEY need to have their rights infringed.

By the way….what is Pearl Jam? Some sort of band?

Not just you. I think his vocal coach was the Swedish Chef

@ tincankilla: please tell me you’re being facetious about what he said. I know it’s sometimes hard to comprehend what people are trying to communicate online but you CAN’T be that naive! Hey Eddie, go wash your mouth out with Cobains shogun, you liberal prick!!!

Gun Control and Eddie Vedder/Pearl Jam musical career… Functionally irrelevant.

Eddie “Vedder” Mueller (Mueller is his official last name). What, Pearl Jam had maybe 5 or 6 good songs…15 years ago. Even then, Crazy Eddie (as he was known in the Seattle music scene), still sucked as a singer. Now, Eddie, with his 2-3 body guards is telling me how to live my life…okay…nah. Stick to your crappy music Eddie Mueller, and trying to be relevant 15 years after your 15 minutes of fame has hit the 14:50 mark.

The two-last-names thing is due to a Daddy Issue so large that he ought to be running for A Certain Party’s presidential nomination. A bar-brawler too, so he gets both wings of that party. What a piece of work.

Why should any American care what some high school drop out’s biased and delusional opinion is regarding inherent constitutional rights?

The truth is most Americans don’t care one iota about the moron’s opinion on anything.

But like death and taxes, it’s certain that media will always let us know what these scholars-in-their-own-minds have to say, eh?

What’s next from this idiot, his keen geopolitical and economic insight? Surely Nobel worthy, right?

    Lyrics in “Once”:

    I got a 16ga under my clothes, I play

Then there is “Jeremy” which is entirely about a kid shooting up his classroom.

There’s also their song “Glorified G” which wws basically written by Vedder as a way to rip on their drummer for buying guns. Not a real Pearl Jam fan due to Vedder but there are some songs that are linked to my teens/twenties that are nostalgic earwigs.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
