They have much respect for the first amendment as they have for the second

ATF is trying to block a whistle-blower from publishing a book that details Fast and Furious.

He is doing it while being paid by ATF, and that means he is their employee and he needs their approval. BS considering the issues at stake, but that is how it’s getting played.

Why do you think he hasn’t been fired, yet?

  2. Chas Says:

He needs to play by the rules. Publish without renumeration. Get the information out. Stick it to ’em. Yeah, he makes no money. Then sue the ATFucktards. I think the new expression is, “RAPE BACK AGAINST BARACK”. Or did I just make that up?

Chas, I don’t think it’s so much “publishing for renumeration” as it is “publishing” period. And if he publishes for pay, he’s still probably subject to dismissal by the ATF’ers, but he can go after ’em with a Whistleblower suit.
How close is this guy to retirement?

Gov employees need permission from their agency to hold a second job. It can be denied for any reason and this has been upheld by both MSPB and the courts.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
