In Mississippi

A judge blocks the open carry law because of fears of the wild west. Or something.

I noticed a complete lack of legal justification for the injunction besides a vague irreparable harm that may happen in the future. It must be the carnage seen in all other Constitutional Open Carry…

And yet I carried all over the delaware beaches with only one guy going all wild eyed…

    Wild west indeed.

I am so tired of the bullshit.

Given that I was born and lived the first 24 years of my life in MS, I can tell you, our judges are known for having minds like steel traps…old rusty ones that is…

Fears of the wild west? The so called “wild west” wasn’t anywhere near as “wild” as the B westerns make it out to be. Crime of all types was vastly lower than it is now. Even most homicides wer’nt cold blooded murder, they were mostly the outcome of fights between two or more willing combatants and those didn’t happen as much as some people believe.

This is a good article about the “wild” west, how it really was.
