I like Dewalt just fine however, the one I use mostly these days is this Bosch Drill/Impact Driver set. The battery life is pretty amazing, which is important to me. And it’s on sale. Cheap. Every once in a while, you can snag them for under two bills at Lowe’s.

I use the Black and Decker, mostly because of fantastic battery life, and the batteries run my hedge trimmer, weed wacker, and drill. It’s nice to have one set of batteries for everything (plus some implements come with two batteries – so I never run out of juice).

I’ve got a 14v Makita. It’s old but it keeps going and going and going.

I almost never use a cordless, myself.
Corded drills have the advantage of never needing a charge and always having full power; the cord is a pretty small price to pay for that, I find.

They were blowing out the 18 volt DeWalts at Home Depot last week. I snagged one for 119.
