Hazards of low quality ARs

From PDB

Clearly stamping a name like Bravo Company on the same upper receiver and FN CHF barrel as PSA offers increases the value by $300.

I don’t think there are many out there that consider PSA to be low quality.

I’ve had tremendous service from Palmetto during this mess. Yes, they don’t answer their phones, but if you read the notices on their site, they ship when they say they will ship, and their prices and quality are superb.

When PDB threatened to cancel his order, I don’t think the PSA people put down there cheese and crackers and shipped his upper. I suspect they just moved his in front of other orders they were shipping. Sqeaky wheel and all.

I don’t know if it’s low quality, I don’t really know much about PSA, but I do know the problems with trying to run a company when you are undercapitalized. Bravo Company probably has good capitalization, PSA probably not so much.

And the ability to get a reply by phone or email these days says almost nothing about the quality of the products. I’ve been buying bolt carriers direct from Young Manufacturing for years and I can’t get a hold of anyone on the phone or by email there.

PDB is down or I just can’t get it. I haven’t been able to contact Paul, or anyone else at Bravo Company, for a few years. BCM still makes top tier ARs. TS

  4. HL Says:

For the record, BCM is a great company. But PSA is pretty great too. PSA has great deals. That is probably why they stay so busy.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
