Why Obama is losing on gun control

A list. I think the key bit is this:

The president imagines that the GOP is the opposition on gun-control policies, but his biggest problem is red-state Democrats who are convinced he offers them no political insulation from irate gun owners.

And, of course, he spent campaign time claiming to be all for guns and stuff.

Gun insurance is a back door route to registration and confiscation.

I suspect backers of any of this current gun people control to lose elections on both the state and federal levels.

Obama pissed off more gun owners and pro-freedom Coloradans with his victory speech surrounded by coerced cops.

Let’s be real: Nathan Deal would be entirely in favor of New York style gun control in Georgia. The only thing stopping him is the thought of riding down West Paces Ferry Rd toward I-75 on a rail

Bloomberg promised everybody here large sums of money in case their campaigns ran in to trouble. I suppose the first installments will be to fight the recalls. Then the citizen initiative, then the actual elections.

If the Reps had the brains God gave Joe Biden, they’d be finding pro-gun Dems to support in the primaries against some of the solid Dems. Make Mike pay big for any wins he gets.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
