It’s totally legal to transport a firearm in Tennessee

A local Rep. basically said he broke the law all the time because he never got a permit and carried a gun all his life. Now, he’s since corrected his statement stating that he was merely transporting one. All his life.

So now we are “transporting” our “personal defense weapons”..gotcha. 😉

  3. Ron W Says:

Article I, Section 26 of the Tennessee State Constitution DECLARES our right to carry arms for our self-defense.

There is a carry permit law, but it is UNLAWFUL to require a permit to exercise an enumerated Constitutional right. Hopefully our Legislature will rectify that!

I’m all for these idiots stepping in their own turds. Yes, it hurts us in the short term, but in the long run… we are only stronger because we have already disposed of the weak links.
