It’s no secret that New York’s Sullivan Act (the one that set up their onerous gun controls) was entirely concocted by a syphilitic mob-tied politician to keep minorities in check. Some things never change. Their recent passage of even more onerous laws is a swipe at keeping another NY minority in check: non-liberals. These laws will accomplish nothing.

Well, with about 20 Million People living in New York State, I think the “Conservative Minority” is a LOT larger that than Albany thinks it is.
But since only NYC matters anymore in Albany, it’s Tough to get the Votes.

To be fair, the act was also aimed at giving the Dem machine a way to run any of their criminal allies in if they became a threat. Same outcome though, the current laws are on the books to keep those without juice or who become a threat to the powers that be from being able to defend themselves.

There are a lot of Democratic voters who own guns.
The Dems laws will end up outlawing all those Remington 742s and 7400s and like weapons that people own.
Rugers just got illegalized until people can make a smaller magazine.
In many areas, everybody has a Ruger or some sort of tube magazined .22 (15-20 rounds) up there and they’re now all illegal.
That’s messing with a lot of people.
New Yorkers are so used to get screwed by their pols, I figure they’ll take it though.
