I was sure there was a Rolling Stones interview were Clinton blamed the 2000 election on gun control… but as far as I can tell it has been scrubbed from the interwebz.

Republicans need to hear the message too. Of the Senate Republicans who voted for renewal of the AWB ten years ago, none are still in office. The last one was Sen. Lugar who was primaried in 2012. Bye Bye Statist.

Republicans need to understand that caving on gun control, like they caved on Obama’s phony “fiscal cliff,” will result in the Republican Party becoming a mere footnote in the history books.
If you’re not for us, you’re against us; if you’re against us, why should gun owners vote for any Republican candidate for any office.

Everyone who has a Republican representative (House or Senate) needs to give them that message, that they will lose their seat if they vote for any gun control measure. I would rather vote for a Democrat who tells me that he’ll ban my guns than a Republican who says he won’t, and then does…

I find that statement to be arrogant, and the very reason why men such as this do not like gun owners- how dare the common man think that they can think or have liberty.

He’s a snake. He says whatever the people want to hear. Just last week in Vegas he was saying nobody needs more than a 10rd mag. Maybe he’s seen the light but I think he’s worried their going to ruin Hilary’s run at the WH in 2008.
