A must read

In the last 50 years, no kid has died in a school fire. Why? Well: … you try to prepare for violence — the thing much more likely to kill our kids in schools, the thing hundreds of times more likely to kill our kids in schools — and people think you’re paranoid. They think you’re crazy. …They’re in denial

Dave has been preaching this for years, recent radio interview: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/theshootingchannel/2012/12/20/lt-col-dave-grossman-live-lets-protect-our-children

Once again, it’s put an armed government agent on campus, but not one word about an armed citizen who is willing to step up to the plate.

Crotalus, why is the solution to a bungled government policy (Gun-Free Zones for example) always MORE government??

We don’t have to invent the wheel when it comes to school security. Wayne LaPierre stated what needs to be done – there are professional trainers out there who cover this subject. We know how to do it. It’s just a matter of motivation to accomplish the implementation. Do we have enough motivation yet?

Probably because school fire plans make sense – the “lock-downs” don’t.

When a school catches on fire, the kids and teachers get the hell out. When a shooter enters a school, they wait around to get shot. I’ve told my kids to get out and run like hell.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
