The end of the gun control movement

In light of recent events, I suppose we shall see. I have been surprised by one thing, though. It’s that any conversation that suggests control has been dismissed outright anywhere I’ve seen it.

Yeah, I don’t know. Seems to be a vocal minority on my twitter feed. Concerns about healthcare vis-a-vis the shooter’s presumed mental problems seem to be equally common.

And a lot of people saying …. nothin’.

  2. Huck Says:

On the Yahoo forums the libtards are squealing like a sty full of pigs for a outright ban on all “assault weapons”. When asked to define what a “assault weapon” is, they either dont answer or “dont know the legal definition.”

In a nutshell, they’re just parroting the Brady Bunch, as usual, who dont know what they’re talking about either.

  3. Greg Laden Says:

NO, it’s not over: *link removed two can play that retarded game*

    Just getting started, actually.

  4. Chas Says:

Newton was liberals pretending that those kids were safe with no guns around them. Where was the accurate return fire that could have made a difference? It was banned by law in violation of our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and our Second Amendment. We need our freedom back, so that we can be safe instead of pretending to be safe.

  5. JKB Says:

What I find surprising is that the arguments for gun control haven’t changed. They completely ignore Heller and other decisions. Congresscritters are coming out with the 2nd amendment is about militia trope.

For some reason, they don’t catch up on the latest information before running their mouth

  6. The Jack Says:

Laden’s also doing “reasoned discourse” editing out links that contradict him.

  7. SayUncle Says:

    Well, in that case.

  8. HL Says:

Is Greg Laden the cousin of Bin?

  9. Cargosquid Says:

Huffington Post is a target rich environment. And the anti-rights people are hysterical. Not funny…actually hysterical. And they are getting a lot of push back. Seems their “consensus”…isn’t. If they are having that much trouble on a lib site like that….this “demand” for change is nothing more than media spin. Of course, our spineless politicians refuse to accept any reality that is not found inside the NY and DC papers.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
