When attention whoring fails. Why is the OC crowd always so preoccupied with the reactions they get?

Dave, probably because the non/anti-OC crowd is perpetually telling them they’re gonna start some sort of riot – so they feel the need to point out that it didn’t happen.
But appearance is (as she points out) a huge part of the occasion – a nicely dressed woman carrying is not nearly as threatening as some dude with scuzzy camo & jeans, and far less likely to get unwanted attention.

Texas, my Texas, when oh when will my Texas get with the OC movement and stop making me carry IWB?
I guess I will, and I know I should, lose some weight, because I’ll be darned embarrassed if I gain any more and need a new, larger gun belt to fit the Glock (in a Comp Tac IWB) between the pants and the fat.

Dave – I was specifically pointing out that I don’t get much of a reaction, which is exactly what I’d prefer. How is that “attention whoring?”
Hartley – If I’m a woman that’s certainly news to me, Breda’s slip of the tongue notwithstanding. 🙂
