Putting the A and F in ATF

Went to the local liquor store (where my Baptist friends won’t say “hi”) when I saw this:

Silly liquor store, it’s not a Tommy gun, it’s a PPSh. That aside, it’s a rather odd thing to see vodka come in a gun shaped container. The guy working the counter saw me taking photos and showed me another gun and booze item:

It’s for shots, I suppose. Seen this before. Too bad it shoots tequila. Because tequila sucks.

I occasionally see firearm-shaped bottles advertised. I just figure you pay for the bottle, the contents are not meant to be consumed.

And I feel about gin the way you do about tequila. I am not sure, i have never tried, but I suspect that supermarket vanilla would go down better as well as having a lower price and much higher alcohol content.

But I do like tequila. Well, one brand – every other I have tried I usually describe as being made in Baja of used inner tubes. Actually, I do not really like alcohol that much except with a group of people: somewhere or other I discovered that that one brand did not give me a hangover, as did the various vodkas I used to drink (erm, did I mention I cannot stand the smell or taste of US beer?).

I still want a bottle of Crystal Skull vodka.

I have the 1911 bottle of Hijos de Villa. It’s actually pretty decent, as tequilas go. Be on the lookout for the musket, AK, and PPK bottles (which I think are by another company).

Well, shit. Now everybody knows that my blog stinks. It’s damn near as bad as tequila. Blech.

Got myself a crystal skull for my birthday šŸ™‚

You can get those at Costco out here!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
