Mayor Bloomberg Endorses Concealed Carry
Some times, some truth slips out of that blowhard:
Let me ask you this Miss, if somebody pointed a gun at you and you had a gun in your pocket, what would you do? I think that answers the question
He was defending his officers who negligently put holes in nine people but he seems to understand self-defense after all.

I still would like to know, if a cop blast away at you, are you allowed to defend yourself?

Surrender is the preferred option – especially if you can do it before the officer shoots you. Strangely enough, the police don’t often shoot people who have surrendered.
Or as my daddy explained to me when I was a rebellious teen: “You don’t argue with a policeman. Your lawyer argues with a judge. More expensive but less bruising.”

I guess the correct answer is “shoot 9 people other than the guy pointing a gun at you.”

@ mikee: I don’t see how surrendering would have helped any of the 9 people who were gunned down by the cops.

But the dangerous guys pointing a gun at them were the ones wearing uniforms. What exactly is the Mayor suggesting?
