   I’m starting to wonder if maybe they CAN prove it…they just want the story to be as fresh as possible when people head to the polls…
   What do they call those surprises that happen in October?

   My read has always been that the pace of this scandal can be explained by both parties’ need to postpone the scandal “peak”. Republicans want it to peak in September of this year, Democrats would prefer December.
