Here is what the man in question has to say about what happened:
“Once I have had time to think about the incident in an objective way I should be able to use this accident in a constructive way to help others who are interested in training for real world self defense. This was a Close Quarters Combatives drill utilizing a handgun. It was not an accident that can be attributed to the holster or firearm make or model. It was a training methodology problem. This incident clearly could have been avoided
in a training environment but may not have been avoided in a real world dynamic incident where things change quickly in a close quarters fight that involves a handgun. Give me a little time and I think I can help others use my experience is a positive manner.”

Meanwhile, where was it around here that someone was claiming that sweeping oneself in a draw or reholster was no problem?
