Kind of like gun blogs

Back in the early 1990s, if you had said to me Hey, Uncle, we’ll soon be arguing the merits of open carry versus concealed carry instead of just trying to get rid of gun bans and getting carry in 49 states then I would have said you’re a looney. But I would have been wrong. You see, this thing Al Gore invented called the internets (a series of tubes, I am told) allowed us to make our case as opposed to your average American merely seeing the talking points of anti-gun groups parroted in the press as “news”. Since the internet, we’re winning and they’re losing. The Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Ownership is essentially irrelevant in any gun policy discussion.

Apparently, the internet had a similar benefit for how men perceive themselves: They all got together and decided they weren’t crazy.

I recall reading a spy thriller from the 1980s in which the Soviet spy master is explaining his failures to his political bosses. He uses the key phrase “objective conditions” to describe the undeniable reality he faced, with better technology, training, and personnel opposing him. This phrase allowed him to blame the enemy for his failure, without calling into question the policy and practices of his own society and his political bosses, which hamstrung him at every step of his operation.

I see the same thing happening here. The anti-rights folks, analogous to the earnest but scared Soviet bad guy, have to come up with some explanation of their continued decline, without questioning their (very questionable) beliefs or practices.

In the story, the spy eventually arranges his own defection to the West, saving his own life at the cost of helping destroy his former society. I hope something similar happens to all the anti-rights folks out there irrationally pushing their agenda.

The feminist movement began, like many, with good premises but was quickly hijacked by leftist agitators. In this case, man-hating leftist agitators.

Anyway; this is why the internet has to be controlled. The left cannot abide it. It makes them look almost as they really are– stupid and worthless.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
