A deputy teaching a concealed carry permit class negligently shot one of his students:

Jeff Cooper’s gun rules are for your safety and for that of your team. They are not flexible. You don’t get a pass simply because you’re experienced or an instructor. Either obey them or you are history. Is that clear?

    Looks like Mandated Training is endangering the citizens. We need to get rid of that requirement, especially since training is intended to discourage the “wrong type of people” from carrying by increasing the time and expense neccessary to get a license. By the “wrong type of people”, the anti’s are targeting minorities and the poor.

    I’ve taught more than 2,000 students hunter education, including a brief live fire exercise.

    Never had a student even draw blood from a sharp corner.
