Got to fire OldNFO’s M24 he had built a few weeks back. If this Remington Program goes through, those who have the bucks should take advantage of it.

But something tells me the Obama Admin will put a stop to it, like Clinton did with the “Excess” Military Inventory in the ’90s.

Hmm, I’m interested in buying one but I don’t quite fit in any of the groups they’re limiting sales to. I spent about a year in my battalion sniper squad but due to our predeployment training and unit budget I never went to sniper school. More than half the squad didn’t go to sniper school before the unit deployed, though we were trained by the qualified snipers.

I’m not active duty, and I’m not retired, because I was medically discharged for a serious leg injury sustained in training after we got back from Iraq.

    So, that’s lame.

Glad I didn’t delay getting my 700 in .300 Winmag.

Talk about Tacticool… Buy a rifle worn out by a Marine..

This sounds too good to be true. Look for Obama to block it just like he did with the South Korean M1 Carbines. And he’ll do it with his typical straw-man, “Some people say we should flood the streets with cheap sniper rifles …”

but I hope it happens. And if I don’t win one in the lottery, the money goes to a good cause.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
