An unnamed public servant called the police because two 12 year-olds kissed on the school playground. Yes, two 12 year-old’s consensual kiss led to someone calling the authorities and the police. Someone should name and shame this lunatic and the lunatic who advised the administrator to do that.

Ummm…don’t want to throw any cold water on anyone’s parade here, but as a career LEO, I know of NO state where a 12-year-old can do ANYTHING “consensual”. In the preambles to every sex offense in every state is a section that gives exceptions to “consent”. Some states have a “gray area” between 16-18, but NO state has 12-year-olds possessing the right of “consent” to sex acts, and yes, kissing IS a sex act.
Consent at 12 may be a Hollywood director’s dream, but it doesn’t exist in fact.
The administrator probably acted like an ass, but had he let the kids smooch and someone reported HIM, he would have been in far worse trouble, such as being THE adult facilitator of a sex offense.

I was in a public on stage child porn performance when I was a 2nd Grader.
I played the jolly elf (was a fat kid, now adult) in the school performance of “I Saw Momma Kissing Santa Claus”. The first grade girl playing “Momma” performed a “sex act” on me in accordance with the song title.

by the sounds of it, the kiss it self was not the issue. From what I gather, administrators asked the young girl why she was acting out (apparently she was the active kisser) and home “issues” arose that prompted the cops to get called along with child protective services.
