Really – an AR pistol, with a non-standard bolt carrier and the recoil spring relocated to the upper. The operating handle on the LH side is nice, but hardly original.
They don’t seem to mention the caliber, but it seems likely it’s in 5.56, not exactly an ideal cartridge for that length of barrel.

If you’re gonna do that platform, with it’s shorty barrel, at least use a round designed for short barrels. Something in 50 Beowulf might actually attract my attention. The NATO 5.56 round out of that barrel has about as much poop as the FN PS90, a much more ergonomic weapon.

Looks like a slightly different version of Rock River’s piston gun.
