ATF and guns in Mexico

Seen on facebook:

IBD: Again, Fast and Furious was no botched sting operation. The ATF simply didn’t “lose track” of thousands of weapons. We believe this was a planned and premeditated attempt to further the administration’s gun-control agenda and its claim that violence in Mexico was our fault.

Yup. Is the media ignoring or covering up?

Obama’s Watergate? No, Watergate had no body count.

The silencer should also say “Media”

  2. Blake Says:

    “Silencer” that is.

It really is amazing. There are people who still deny MSM bias. Then those same people denounce Fox. Fox has plenty of problems, but those pale when compared to the other members of the Alphabet Soup.

I googled a larger version of the cartoon and its now printed out and on display in my cubicle.

“We believe this was a planned and premeditated attempt to further the administration’s gun-control agenda”

“Believe” being the optimal word here…is there a shred of evidence released to indicate this was the case? Is there even evidence that this policy was instituted at the behest of folks brought in by the Obama administration?

Even if there was a cover-up or foot dragging by the DOJ, it doesn’t follow that this was part of some evil scheme to grab Say Uncle’s guns.

  6. HL Says:

It remains to be seen what the purpose of the scheme was, but it was evil to be sure.

They claim it was to try and locate and track the Cartels, yet they never had a method or ability to track the guns once they were in Mexico…except possibly to obtain cooperation from the Mexican government, which they didn’t do.

Alternatively, I could have just said “Bush Lied!”

  7. DirtCrashr Says:

Obama announced they were going to do “something under the radar,” and lookie what happened! Nobody died in Watergate nor was a sovereign nation’s borders compromised and citizenry killed.

That’s what it was. They’ve stopped now, at least it seems that they’ve stopped now, because they got caught at it.
