Grilled Lettuce

Simple and delicious. Get some romaine hearts and cut them in half, lengthwise. Brush with olive oil and add some salt and pepper (or Cavender’s Greek Seasoning):

Toss on the grill with some meat (here we have pork wrapped in more pork):

Give it a couple of minutes and flip it to flat side down. Take it off the grill when it looks about like this (probably 10 minutes at 400 degrees):

Cut it up and eat. Or use it as greens for a salad.

I tried something similar from Good Eats. Try freezing some red wine vinegar then scraping it with a fork; it’ll come out like shaved ice. Before grilling, sprinkle some parmesan on the oil.

Sprinkle some of the shaved vinegar ice on and enjoy!

    Looks lo-carb and yummy. Thanks!

I do a similar grilled romaine heart, but I drizzle Balsamic vinegar on it while grilling so it kinda steams with the heat. Good stuff.

Was coming to give Tim’s tip from AB.

    Grilled lettuce is awesome.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
