When the tool rather than a person’s behavior using the tool is targeted for demonization, Jeff Cooper’s “hoplophobe” also describes the situation. Or just plain “stupid.”

I thought we passed laws against Hate Speech? Wonder what would happen if every time the Antis said something about “Gun Owners” the word “Jew” was substituted in their statements? Wonder if Holder and the DOJ would launch an investigation? I mean, Civil Rights Violations are Civil Rights Violations, correct?

The Left has been using the tactic of moral equivocation for so long that they’ve forgotten how to use it correctly. They hate guns and freedom, so they attempt to demonize gun owners and other people who defend freedom. They run stories about bad guys who use guns since in their feeble minds, everyone who owns a gun is a badguy. Normal people run out and buy guns to protect themselves from all the badguys they keep hearing about on the news. The law of unintended consequences can be seen in play here.

Why all they avocate is ‘common sense’ gun control (read people control.) As Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Chavez, Castro, etc… Works fine for them!

It’s time to hit back, guys. The basic fight is about whether or not we are the same as the typical killer. We both carry guns, so the gun-grabbers act like we are the same. The reality is that the people you read about in the paper and see on the news are career criminals. Take those names, look them up in your State’s public criminal database, and post the results. You will quickly find that the worse the crime, the more likely that this isn’t their first time at this rodeo.

Actually they like guns in the hands of government agents so they can take the freedoms they hate from others….something they could NEVER do themselves.
