In the 1980’s I took a bus trip to Charleston, SC, to visit some friends. I recall the sign on the door to the bus terminal, which had a sign about that large, which read something like, “If ordered by the police to stop, do not move! Put your hands above your head! Or you will be shot!”

Some signs are a bit more clear about how things really work than others.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this at a place that would consider it a “pro” gun control sticker …

Heh. Now that is one funny store owner there. I appreciate a guy with a keen sense of humor.

I like the sign I once saw at a samll out of the way seafood restaurant in Gulf Shores, AL which had a gravel parking lot, rolls of paper towels on the tables and lots of pick-up trucks in the parking lot. Behind the checkout counter was a picture of a revolver with the words underneath: “We don’t dial 9-11”

Nope. I saw it on the door of a Southeast Texas pawnshop; the owner was an FFL and he had all sorts of politically incorrect weaponry.

Why I always unload my gun and remove my ski mask before entering! Of course I still have my bandanna on and bowie knife…..
