That’s odd since the Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Ownership tells me the NRA must hate police since they don’t like gun control.

The Brady Bunch are idiots. Most rank and file cops support the 2nd Amendment and not gun control. The NRA loves cops. Its the liberals who hate cops and they demonstrate that hate with their undermining of law enforcement and their support of the ACLU.

Most people don’t remember, but as recently as the early 1970s, leftists didn’t even pretend to be anything other than supporters of hard-core violent criminals. Ramsey Clark as Attorney General supported gun control to keep average citizens, whom he considered racists, from killing criminals, whom he considered socially “relevant.” Leftists put up Bonnie and Clyde movie posters to show that they were fighting the “pigs,” as they called the police. They supported left-wing domestic terror groups such as the Symbionese Liberation Army.
It was only after the public came to violently hate the LSD-drenched, murderous criminal leftist underground that the Left changed their tune and said that, no, they wanted gun control in order to *control* crime. Disregard all our Black Panther fundraisers!!!
Even so, they occasionally let the truth out when they didn’t think people were looking. It was fashionable for leftists in Manhattan to talk about criminal gangs as the “wave of the future,” or as Tom Wolfe put it in BONFIRE OF THE VANITIES, “Do you think you can stop the future with a *bridge*?”
Anti-gunners are pro-criminals. PERIOD.
