I agree on corn. Not that it doesn’t work as fuel or that it affects food, more we cannot grow enough.
Most corn grown in Iowa ends up in cows, pigs, chickens, whiskey, ceral or any of the by products that become other things.
Most of the waste from those activities generate the fuel for fuel, so to speak.
I am also on task for the waste of government dollars.

I have a friend who heats his HOUSE with a corn heater. He burns the stuff, to heat his house. By the cup. Do some googing, cool tech.
