State firearm

Utah has been working on it for a while but it looks like the house there passed a bill recognizing the 1911 as the official state firearm.

“The state bird, the beehive, they’re fun and engaging,” Moss said. “Students will be coloring and drawing pictures and answering quizzes about guns and that seems inappropriate to me.”

How about teaching the kids some gun safety, and the history of it keeping them safe and alive, you JACK WAGON.

My f’ing gun is FUN and ENGAGING.

Personally I would have made the M2, ‘Ma Duce’, .50 cal machinegun as the state firearm!

After all, Ma Duce has dome far more in combat than the 1911, right?

  3. Bubblehead Les Says:

What about the Browning Semi-Auto Shotgun?

  4. Ron W Says:

Tennessee definitely needs to do this. In the very excellent movie “Shooter” when Bob Lee Swagger and his FBI agent friend, turned sniper trainee, arrive in Athens, TN for some elder “wisdom”, he says, “Welcome to Tennessee, Patron State of shootin’ stuff”.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
