  1. Robert Says:

Umm. IIRC, a black tip on a round indicates armour piercing. Aren’t those illegal if they really are?

  2. D2k Says:

Only AP handgun ammo is restricted in sale.

  3. Mad Saint Jack Says:

Farmer Frank had a photo of another Sig 308. A 550 style rifle. I have not seen it anywhere else.

  4. Jim S Says:

Nope, the AP rounds are perfectly legal. They’re LC or TWS 53s I got in a Senator Cigar tin from my grandpa. Makes the picture look cooler too!

  5. Robert Says:

Oh, good. Then the 30-06 rounds my dad left behind are OK. I suppose tracer rounds *are* illegal though. Not that I’d have any…

  6. Bubblehead Les Says:

You can buy 5.56 Tracer all day long from Cheaper than Dirt, so why would you think ’06 would be illegal?

  7. AJ187 Says:

    Nice Rock Island Armory, Jim!

  8. Robert Says:

Bubblehead: I figured that the chances of starting a brushfire would be too great if using it out of doors, so the gov would ban it. I guess I’m just thinking cynically.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
