Colt 100th Anniversary 1911

For $70K. Even at that price, the internets tell me the 1911 won’t run.

Of course it won’t run. No 1911 funtions at all out of the box. You need to get $1000 worth of gunsmithing on a brand new gun just to make it feed hard ball. And heck, you can’t even field strip it without special tools. Don’t get me started on how bad the Combat Commander sized 1911s are. No amount of modding will overcome the inherent jamming from limp wristing in those 4.25″ steel pistols. In fact everyone that owns one of those in Maryland should go sell it on consignment at their gunshop, priced to sell because there will be a glut of them to get rid of. Let some OTHER poor sucker get saddled with an antique inferior design. That’ll show those silly 1911 fanbois, I tells ya.

I don’t see a “Buy It Now” price on this item.

Well of course 1911’s don’t run, thats why they make them so expensive, at those prices no one shoots them they show them off.

I hope you guys are prepared for the grief that will be visited upon you for saying that stuff.

I seem to be the 1911 fanboys’ pinata at the moment…

Methinks you have jacked up any number of bloggers hit counts.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
