They make the filtration side sound so easy. Its been a NIGHTMARE in my bacon vodka creation. The upside is the vodka tastes REALLY good. Just need to spend a LOT of time filtering and re-filtering. I need to look into a vacuum driven filtration to see if I can make the process more manageable…

Normally I’m an even tempered fellow who is forgiving of most transgressions but the idea of soaking bacon in George is evil. Why, I hesitate to even add spring water to that heavenly elixir. Now if you get the munchies while indulging yourself with some of Mr. Dickles finest then by all means snack away. There is nothing savory that George doesn’t make better (extra sharp cheddar or a good smoked gooda are prime examples.)

I’m sure that there are some alcoholic beverages out there that would have their tastes improved by being imbued with a taste of bacon. George Dickle is perfect as it is. Thank you very much.

If you’re ever in Nashville, you should visit the Patterson House and try a Bacon Old Fashion. The Bacon Bourbon making process is the same too.

Hey, I have this old commemorative Dickel bottle from the early 60’s. This was what the prop department used to make the “Saurian Brandy” bottle for Star Trek (tos). I’ve been thinking about making one out of it.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
