A chart.

Of the 12 dogs my immediate family has had over the last 50 years, zero were shot by police. 6 died of old age and its complications (dobies, pit bulls, collies and labs), four are still running (mini Aussie sheps are awesome), and two were run over by family members (cocker spaniels are a breed of enthusiastic but deeply stupid car-chasers).

How many dogs shot by police have owners with prior police activity, compared to the innocent pups shot by overzealous officers?

    Is that chart accurate?

I have friends and family in local LE. I will say that a cop knows what a dog is. I am not Dr. Dolittle, but I think the dog knows what a cop is, also. I could site two, very, good examples of this. But, to get long winded is my worst vice. Long story short, cops and dogs are a lot alike. So are the opposite poles of a magnet. Usually, they won’t like each other. But, they both protect their loved ones. Almost, to a fault.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
