Quote of the Day

So much fail:

The GOP built its power on the Southern Strategy. After the Democrats finally, a hundred year too late, did the right thing and removed the racists from their party, the GOP welcomed them with open arms.

Yet, it’s taken as gospel truth among Democrats.

They’re STILL stuck on the racist shtick?

  2. Jeremy Says:

Yeah, I remember when the Democratic party kicked Old Sheets Byrd to the curb……Oops. Never Mind.

  3. Robb Allen Says:

Hey, I’m sure if you dig hard enough, you’ll find a Libertarian candidate who has an irrational distaste for Swedes. But still, this insatiable need to extrapolate racism from imagined boogeymen is just weird.

I can only imagine that they are so buggered as to why anyone would not support the God King that they can only assume it *must* be something as simple as racism, therefor Occam’s razor is inappropriately applied and they go with the ‘simple’ rather than the ‘truth’.

  4. Mr Evilwrench Says:

Actual racism, at least with mainstream whites, has been essentially obsolete for decades, but the shame of it remains strong in many. The left have used the word simply as a way to shut people up when they themselves have nothing to bring to the debate, knowing that the target will deny racism while wondering if there’s something they missed, then backpedal to prove it. It’s become such a reflex that they’ve overplayed it, many times making absurd spectacles of themselves.

    These lies are knowing lies.

  6. Stranger Says:

Unfortunately, a majority of minorities fail to recognize the Democrats institutionalized bias (not racism until Trotsky invented the word) against all minorities stretches back to the late 18th century.

However, the number who realize whites generally do not care about skin color is growing. Slowly, but growing.

All governments try to create an “us against them” mentality in the proles.

  8. emdfl Says:

I’m wondering if those fools will ever figure out that “muslim” isn’t a race. Unless they are willing to concede that “Christian” is also a race, epic FAIL..

  9. oldsmobile98 Says:

Lulz at the racers. Southern = racist now, huh?

Dear racers: go jump in a lake.

  10. Stormy Dragon Says:

The GOP’s problem isn’t racism so much as xenophobia. And by ‘fear of the alien’ I don’t mean in the literal sense of ‘things from other countries’ but in the broader sense of ‘things that are different’. There is a broad swath of the party that has a very specific idea of how life is supposed to be lived and is rather vicious to anything that doesn’t fit into that mold.

  11. Standard Mischief Says:

can we even say n*gger? I thought saying n-word was pushing the envelope of what we’re allowed.

  12. JKB Says:

Yet, who is trying to keep minority students from escaping failed public schools?

I don’t know about anyone else but the speech by Ed Schultz (video at the bottom of this link) is mildly racist to me. Yet, the mostly black crowd at Sharpton’s rally applauds.

And that pretty much describes 100% of progressives.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
