An armed liberal

In NJ, a Democrat takes a pistol class:

I now have an NRA bumper sticker right next to Obama/Biden.

One of those will soon be peeled off. They are incompatible positions.

  2. Darwin Says:

35% of NRA members are registered Democrats. Thinking you have to be a Republican to be pro-gun is stupid. read your NRTA mailings instead of being ignorant.

I’m waiting for the follow up post where she defends her sticker from either the latte-sippers or the patchouli sniffers, beginning her journey towards libertarianism.

    Darwin,

Right! I think the NRA recently bestowed honor on anti-gun rights, pro semi-auto rifle ban, forme Gov Mitt Romney, prompting one blogger to wonder if NRA meant National Republican Association.

The people should support ALL of the Bill of Rights and be against all politicians who oppose any of them. Their oaths of office mandates that they support ALL of them!

    Darwin,

Little man … maybe you don’t remember the Clinton years but people just like you said the same shit then too

Very sweet and all… but the real test will be when she’s in the voting booth. How important will the 2nd Amendment be to her then?

  7. Geodkyt Says:

    Ron,

I think the incident you may be thinking of is that NRA has endorsed Harry Reid in Nevada.

  8. John Smith Says:

His bumper sticker should read Armed and Ignorant.

Her epiphany will come when she tries to buy a handgun and get a carry permit in NJ.

  10. svi Says:

yeah guys, lets keep alienating potential allies, that is a winning strategy.

nb: I did not say that he would switch to becoming a Republican, merely that he would no longer be a Democrat.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
